Below we have answered the common questions we have been asked, if this does not answer your problem please contact us and we will respond, often immediately during working hours.

UKFrames is based in Manchester, United Kingdom and is a trading name for NUFO Ltd

Are the frames complete?
YES. All frames arrive ready to hang on the wall or in smaller sizes, to stand or hang (a strut back) - THERE IS NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED.

How are frames measured?
The 'size' is the size of the piece of glass which fits in it. So - if you wish to frame a A4 size print, please select an A4 size frame.

Do you have a minimum order?
We have no minimum order.

What is your delivery charge?
We charge just £4.50 for one frame, or a fixed rate of £6.95 for two or more frames. If your order is over £60, the delivery will be FREE.

What is your typical delivery time?
We dispatch all items the same day or the very next day via Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded or Next Day Courier Service. Typically, your order should be delivered within 3-5 working days.

Do you deliver to any address?
YES. We deliver to business and home addresses throughout the UK.

Do I get a discount on a large order?

When will my frames arrive?
All frames are made by us for immediate dispatch and are delivered by our courier throughout the UK. Frames are generally delivered within 3-5 working days.
All deliveries MUST be signed for so please give delivery addresses where a person can sign for your order in normal working hours - many customers arrange to have their frames delivered at work or with neighbours.

What is your privacy policy?
We do not retain any financial or credit card information you provide us. We do not share your information with any other parties.

Where are your frames made?
All of our frames are made in UK by us.

Do you produce metal frames?
Unfortunately we do not produce metal frames at present.

Do you produce wooden frames?
All the frames displayed in the 'Wooden Frames' Section are made of real wood. The mouldings not displayed in this section are either MDF or Acrylic. If you are unsure in regards to a moulding, please contact us.

I can't see the size frame I need can you help?
YES. Please email on sales@ukframes.com or use our contact us page.

Do you have my item in stock?
All frames are made to order. We keep all of the moulding in stock and can therefore make the frame you require for immediate dispatch.

Does the frame have glass?
All our frames A4 size and above come with crystal clear perspex glass. These are the ultra high quality, modern and safer alternative to real glass. Perspex glass is shatter proof and msot customers cannot tell the difference between perspex glass and real glass. Any size smaller than A4 come with real glass. If you would like real glass or perspex glass with all your frames, please contact us.

Can I get real glass with all of my frames?
We prefer not to send real glass via courier for frames above A4 size. This is because if the glass breaks during transit, it is highly likely to damage the frame and anything inside the box. However, if you accept the risk, please proceed with your order as normal and email or state in the "special instructions" box during checkout that you would like real glass with all of your frames. Alternatively, you are welcome to collect your order from our warehouse in Manchester if you require real glass.

We send all frames via real glass for orders placed in our TRADE PICTURE FRAMES section as we use pallet deliveries for them.

What is your returns policy?
All picture frames are hand made to your specifications and due to this we do not accept returns. However, if your frames arrives in damaged condition, please contact us with photos of the damaged items within 48 hours of delivery and we will replace them immediately at our own cost. If only the real glass is damaged, we cannot resend just the glass on its own due to the high likeliness of it breaking again, but we can offer a partial refund for the glass or can send a replacement perspex glass at our own cost.

How accurate are the images displayed on the website?
All product photos displayed on our website are from high resolution photographs. All images are presented in good faith but it is important to remember the graphical representation may not be to scale or represent the exact colour of the product. This is because all computer monitors have different graphic capability and therefore it is impossible to provide a 100% true represent of any image. On monitors even the angle you view the screen at will affect the colour of the image.
If the frame/mount colour is important, we can post a small off cut of the moulding for £2 or just £0.30 for mounts including postage.

Do you have a showroom?
Although you can see many of the products we sell in High Quality Framing and Department Stores, we do not have a physical showroom ourselves. We a are a true e-commerce company operating without conventional sales costs and pass these huge savings onto our customers.
